That sounds just like my husband. When I found out he was getting credit cards I advised him it would be a big mistake. He kept getting one after the other after the other. At one time he had something like 12 credit cards. I told him he was going to regret it and he kept telling me he was going to pay them. Well, wouldn't you know it, he is now in debt and can't pay all of them. He did get some paid off but he still has about $25,000 in debt. If he would have listened to me in the first place he would not be in this situation. Make that we wouldn't be in this situation. His credit cards don't affect me credit wise but now he is stressed out because he can't keep up with the credit card bills. Too bad men don't listen, they would stay out of trouble more.

A perfect example was one of my old gf's. Her car started acting up on a Saturday. I suggest it was likely the starter. I got a quote that was reasonable from a place that was open since it was the weekend, problem could have been resolved in a few hours. Good price, plus it's the weekend, it was a good time to do it.





Nope, I'll take it to my mechanic. OK have fun. It's Tuesday, Ooops, the ambulance is taking your mother to hospital and your car got you stuck?





After the rental car and her mechanic charging a higher price, plus the hastle of being in a car that wouldn't start when you get the call your mother just had a heart attack.





I figured she just knew best. What do I know. I'm just a silly little man.
I have often wondered why men deliberately go against the advice of their own wife or girlfriend and when things go bad they run to the mama's to fix it for them.





EDIT: When a guy has a problem and he runs to his mama, his mama normally gets him out of the jam he is in and makes the problem go away. Meanwhile he is telling his mama that it's the fault of the wife or girlfriend in the first place. I don't know hlow often this happens. How often do you gi to your mama when you are in a bind.
For the same reason that some men go out of their way to do the opposite of whatever a woman says.
